Seeing Knocked Loose for the second time was an absolute rush, and on their first-ever performance at Bayou Music Center on October 13, 2024, they didn’t disappoint. The band has a knack for commanding not just the stage but the entire crowd, and from the moment they stepped on, it was non-stop energy. Calls to “open up the pit” were instantly met with moshing and chaos, a testament to the band’s ability to engage their fans at every moment.
Hardcore shows like this are a full experience, both on and off the stage. The audience became just as much a part of the show, with crowd surfers, walls of death, and the raw energy fueling the entire room. By the time they hit Mistakes Like Fractures and Counting Worms, it was clear the crowd knew every word, and Knocked Loose delivered with the same intensity that their music demands.
With a setlist pulling from their latest release, You Won’t Go Before You’re Supposed To, along with older fan favorites, the show was a well-crafted mix of raw emotion and relentless energy. Songs like Where Light Divides the Holler and Suffocate hit hard, leaving the venue buzzing by the end of the night.
Knocked Loose is a band that clearly loves what they do, and it shows in every moment of their live performance. Their connection with the crowd, paired with their sheer intensity, makes for a show that fans won’t soon forget. If their performance at Bayou Music Center was any indication, they’re just getting started.
