Jason Mraz Sets Tour Stop in Houston

By: Marti Mendoza

After a crazy 2020 for everyone in the world, it seems that some normalcy is finally coming around again with the announcements of tours, concerts, festivals, and more.

Internationally-renowned artist, Jason Mraz, comes to Houston on Saturday, July 31st, at the White Oak Music Hall as the second stop of his Look for the Good Live! U.S. Summer Tour.

From his first major studio album in 2002 all the way to his latest album just released today, Look for the Good (Deluxe Version), Mraz has had quite the career under his belt. This deluxe version includes new and reimagined songs in addition to what was in the original album that came out last year.

It is going to be a great surprise on which of his many hits will make the setlist this tour.

Mraz is known for his laid-back pop, folk, and reggae sound that fans have loved with songs such as “I’m Yours,” “The Remedy (I Won’t Worry),” “Lucky,” and “I Won’t Give Up.”

Check out this groovy performance of “You Do You” feat. MC Flow live from the Mranch below. This song comes from his latest album.

Opening up for him in this show will be Southern Avenue. They are a Grammy-nominated soul blues band from Memphis, TN who will be joining Mraz for the first half of this tour.
